Congratulations to senior Fletcher Loyer, as he was named the Gatorade State Player of the Year for Indiana in 2021-22. He joins Caleb Swanigan ('15) as the only other Spartan to win this award.

Congratulations to our very own, Ayanna Patterson. She was named to the McDonald's All-American team today. She is the first Spartans girls basketball player to achieve this honor and joins Caleb Swanigan (2015) as the only Spartans to ever be named McD's All-Americans.

Luke Goode finishes his night with 41 points and 10 3pters, which is a new school record.

We saw the career of one of the best Spartans ever come to an end yesterday. A lot of space has to be added to the Homestead Basketball Record Book for Luke Goode.

Junior Fletcher Loyer has just become the second Spartan in history to surpass the 600 point mark in one season. (Caleb Swanigan was the other in '15 with 702 points)

With that last basket, Fletcher Loyer has reached a milestone scoring mark. With 803 points from Clarkston High School to go along with his two years at Homestead, he has gotten to 2,000 career points in high school. Congratulations, Fletcher!

Congrats to senior Luke Goode for becoming the 10th member of the Homestead Spartan 1,000 Point Club.

With that last 3pter, Fletcher Loyer becomes the fastest Spartan in school history to reach 1,000 career points (40 games). Congrats, Fletcher!

Senior Fletcher Loyer just surpassed the 600-point mark this season, becoming the first player in school history to have two separate 600-point seasons.

With that last rebound, Ayanna Patterson just surpassed the 1,000 career rebound mark. Already the career leader in rebounds, no Spartan has ever gotten to the four digit mark before.

Luke Goode had an opportunity Tuesday to step up, and he didn't miss his chance. He was 3-4 from three, and had a career high in minutes (28) and points (9). "The way you get on the court as a Freshman is play defense and work hard."

Fletcher Loyer had himself a week sandwiched around Christmas. He also helped get the Spartans to 10-0 on the year.

With his 25 points last night, Fletcher Loyer is sitting at 1,918 career varsity points between Michigan and Indiana high school basketball. The 2,000 career point watch is underway!

Chris Johnson picked up his 450th career victory last night. That's 14th most of all current head coaches in Indiana. His Win % (70.9) is 3rd best of those same 14 coaches.

Carter Mathison just broke the school record with his 15th HR in a single season (in 22 games)

Congrats to Ayanna Patterson, who hits the 1500 career point mark with that last bucket.

500 WINS. What does that mean? Only 8 active coaches have 500 wins. He is the 37th coach in Indiana Basketball history to reach 500 wins. Entering this season, he has averaged 17.5 wins per season and only once in his 28 years has his teams finished under .500 in the reg. season.
